Anthropological Approaches to Asian Religions
This seminar explores the anthropological study of Asian religions. We will be reading one ethnography a week and discussing it in terms of content, methodology, theoretical assumptions, and writing style. Students will be expected to lead seminar discussions and provide short response papers throughout the semester.
