Readings in Early Christian Epistolography I

This course will examine the major themes of Paul's thinking as they relate to Paul's Jewish identity and his mission to the nations. In particular, emphasis will be given to comparing Paul's thinking to Jewish beliefs about the way in which the God of Israel deals with gentiles. Additionally, we will examine the scriptural arguments Paul makes in defense of his gospel to the gentiles.
