Career Prep Day

Get ready for summer jobs, internships and jobs after graduation! Social Sciences students sign up to meet one-on-one with Experiential Education (EE) staff for a resume critique, cover letter critique or career advising.

10:00 am - 12:00 pm & 1:00 - 3:00 pm

Students sign up for a 30-minute session for one of the following:

  • career advising
  • resume critique
  • cover letter critique

Employers are starting to recruit and post summer jobs and internships. Whether you are in Level 1 or your final year, get a head start and be ready with a resume or cover letter that will impress.

Not sure which career path you want to follow? Meet with us for career advising and we can discuss possibilities available with your degree, and provide specific examples of how to explore your options and gain experience.

This event is open to all undergraduate Social Sciences students. REGISTRATION NOW OPEN! Email exp.ed@mcmaster.ca from Mcmaster email with your student number, which type of appointment you would like, and your availability for the above time slots on that day. Spots are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
